Current Pipeline Products is a leading provider of pipeline isolation products for the natural gas, oil and water markets. Current Pipeline Products are a division of IMAC Systems, Inc., which was founded in 1978. Current Pipeline Products manufactures and distributes equipment for the mitigation and control of corrosion, specializing in cathodic protection.
The establishment of the Current Pipeline Products division was advanced with the acquisition of the Barlow Corporation by IMAC Systems, Inc. in 1996. Since 1955, the Barlow Corporation, of Philadelphia, has a rich history of designing and manufacturing robust and reliable weld-in style flanged pipeline isolation joints. In 1982, before manufacturing the Barlow joints, IMAC Systems, Inc. began promotion of weld-in style monolithic isolation joints, manufactured by the BASCO Corporation. Recently, Current Pipeline Products retained the rights to market and sell the most advanced and innovative monolithic isolation joint, manufactured by ALFA Engineering. ALFA Engineering has a long and successful history manufacturing joints for the world market, including over 30 years of history manufacturing and selling monolithic isolation joints into the United States.
In addition to isolation joints and dielectric unions, Current Pipeline Products also manufactures and distributes other complementary products such as surge arrestors, spark gaps, test-stations and more.
Current Pipeline Products is strategically located in Tullytown, Pennsylvania, with a modern facility and over 50,000 square feet of plant floor.
